Challenge:
B&Q is the UK’s largest DIY and garden centre retailer. They required effective information capture and management of their over 60s card holder's details. They also wanted to introduce third party affinity deals to this membership base.
dmb Response:
Built a database to capture and manage over 5 million members; production and distribution of membership card application packs to stores; data capture of new members; customer services. Built relevant third party affinity relationships and marketed products and services to card holders whilst managing the incremental revenue stream for B&Q.
Impact:
The diamond card is the UKs largest over 60s club, Wednesday is a key trading day for B&Q. Third party deals created significant revenue streams.
